While many people played Ring Fit Adventure alone, some have used it to find communities they are still a part of. I heard about a number of Discord and Slack groups explicitly for groups enjoying and discussing Ring Fit Adventure long-term. Several people also talked positively about Ring Fit’s in-game leaderboards as an encouraging way to exercise alongside and enjoy friendly competition with their friends. Gilbert said it was the most he had enjoyed using the friends list in a Switch game ever. Get ready to defeat a bodybuilding dragon using the new Ring-Con controller. Amongst my most played games of all time were the Wii Fit series games of Wii Fit, Wii Fit Plus & Wii Fit U. Similarly Wii Sports and it’s brilliant sequel “Resort”. I miss those days, ha.

After the 7-0 loss to Club America on August 20, marking the worst defeat in Cruz Azul’s Liga MX history, manager Diego Aguirre was fired. It’s no wonder Cruz Azul diehards feel as blue as their traditional home jerseys. Defensively porous, the team — whose five all-time CONCACAF Champions Club titles are tied for tops with (wait for it) Club America — is languishing near the bottom of the Liga MX table. After the 17 games in the Apertura and Clausura phases, the top 12 teams in the Liga MX standings enter a playoff stage at the end of both phases. The top four automatically enter the liguilla, which is the end-of-season tournament. The teams occupying spots five to 12 in the table contest a one-game playoff to enter the liguilla phase. Once there, teams play two-legged ties all the way through the final.
